Aging verification is a critical aspect to the production of precision oscillators and Bliley has automated systems for both oscillators and crystals. Typically, aging verification requires 15 days of hourly data collection in order to obtain a statistically relevant prediction for long-term frequency performance on a yearly or decade basis. Such predictions are developed using logarithmic regression algorithms of the form a+b log (ct+1).
